Admission
Before School
Early arrival at school can be a fun time for families to play together and visit other families. We encourage a gentle start to the day, with less rushing before the starting bell at 8:30 am.
Arrangements for children to be at school prior to 8:15 am need to be made with the Principal.
Daily Schedule
School Life
8:30 am — Bell rings.
Students will proceed to the designated line-up area and wait in an orderly fashion for permission to enter.
8:30 am — Morning classes begin.
Students in grades 5 through 8 are expected to be seated and ready to begin work 5 minutes after the bell. Students in Junior Kindergarten to grade 4 are to be seated as soon as possible.
10:20-11:00 am — Snack and Morning recess.
We have a playground that lends itself to all kinds of activities, including room for sports. The staff is always concerned that recess time should reinforce the positive character building themes taught throughout the school.
12:20-1:00 pm — Lunch and Recess.
The lunch period is opened with prayer. Students eat their lunches in the classroom, supervised by their teachers, and are to remain seated until they are ready to leave the room. After eating, the students go outside for the remainder of the lunch period.
3:15-3:30 pm — Classes dismissed.
Afternoon bell rings. Floors and desks are to be cleared and cleaned and all personal belongings collected. At 3:45, remaining students will go to the after school CARE program and will be billed accordingly
8:15 am — Child Supervision Begins.
